Opening and closing: outside - From the door lock

Do not lock the vehicle from the outside if people remain inside, because they will not be able to unlock it from the inside.

At a BMW service center, you can have a signal programmed to confirm that the vehicle has locked correctly.

The vehicle is disarmed from the alarm only with the remote control.

Unlocking the vehicle by turning the key in the door lock triggers the alarm.
