Operation in detail

Auxiliary Ventilation

~1min read

When the system is on, the heating or air conditioning blowers ventilate and cool the interior.

The auxiliary ventilation is controlled via the Multi-Information Display (MID).

The start time of the system is programmed with two timers. The system switches off automatically after 30 minutes. It can also be switched on and off directly. Due to high power consumption, do not activate the system twice in succession. First allow the battery to recharge while driving.

The system operates at outside air temperatures above 166 if a start time is programmed, and at any temperature when switched on directly.

Air is supplied from adjustable air ducts located in the control panel at chest level. Keep these outlets open while the system is operating.

As with the auxiliary heating, you can adjust the airflow intensity and distribution with the ignition key in position 1.
