When the warning lamp illuminates, approximately the following amount of fuel remains in the tank:

► 6-cylinder engine – 8 liters of fuel;
► 8-cylinder engine – 10 liters of fuel.

Fuel tank capacity: approx. 93 liters.

Changes in vehicle inclination, for example during prolonged driving uphill, may cause slight fluctuations in the reading of this gauge.

Running the tank "until the last drop" may damage the engine. Therefore, refuel in good time.

When the ignition is switched on, the warning lamp check is performed: it illuminates for a short time.

Blue zone The engine is still cold. Engine speed and vehicle speed should be moderate.

Red zone When the ignition is switched on, the warning lamp check is performed: it illuminates for a short time.

If the warning lamp illuminates while driving or the self-diagnostic system display shows the message "COOLANT TEMPERATURE":

the engine has overheated. Stop driving, switch off the engine and allow it to cool.

The needle may reach the red zone.
