Tailgate/Trunk Lid Lock

The tailgate/trunk lid can be unlocked in two ways:

a) Pull the tailgate/trunk lid remote release handle located next to the driver's seat;
b) Insert the ignition key into the tailgate/trunk lid lock and turn it clockwise.

To lock, simply close the door/lid.

While driving, make sure the tailgate/trunk lid remains closed at all times. This helps prevent damage and keeps highly toxic carbon monoxide (CO) exhaust gases from entering the passenger compartment.

The trunk lid remote release handle can be locked using the ignition key: insert the ignition key into the lock located next to the handle and turn it counterclockwise.
