Fuel Shutoff Valve

Fuel leakage can cause fire or explosion, resulting in serious injury or death to the driver and passengers. Before resetting the fuel shutoff valve to operating condition, make sure there are no signs of fuel leakage.

Some models are equipped with a fuel shutoff valve located on the right side behind the center console of the instrument panel. The valve is designed to provide fire safety in the event of a road traffic accident. In a collision, the valve automatically shuts off the fuel supply to the engine.

If the valve has tripped, it must be reset manually. Press the valve reset button. After this procedure, the engine can be started.
