Rear Seat

Rear Seat Center Armrest
Some models have a center armrest on the rear seat. The armrest is located in the center of the seat and is unfolded by removing it from the recess in the seatback and lowering it to the horizontal position.

Folding the Rear Seatbacks
The rear seatback is split and consists of two sections that can be folded forward, providing direct access to the luggage compartment and allowing transport of long items.

Each of the two sections of the rear seat backrest can be folded forward independently of the other. To fold one of the sections, open the luggage compartment cover and pull the loop of the corresponding latch toward you.
To secure the seat backrest in the upright position, press it against the rear parcel shelf and make sure the backrest is securely locked in the upright position by pulling it toward you by the upper edge.
Make sure the rear seat safety belts occupy their standard positions when the backrests are raised.
Make sure all items located in the luggage compartment and protruding into the passenger compartment are securely fastened. Remember that sudden braking may cause unsecured cargo to shift.
Avoid operating the vehicle with the rear seat backrests folded and the luggage compartment cover open to prevent exhaust gases containing toxic carbon monoxide (CO) from entering the passenger compartment.
