Power Windows
On equipped models, the power window system operates only with the ignition switched on.
Each door has a switch that controls the power window regulator for that door. To lower the window, press down on the switch and hold it until the window reaches the desired position. The window stops when the switch is released. To raise the window, pull the switch up.

The master power window switch is located on the driver's door armrest and controls the power windows of all doors. To lower the window of any passenger door, press down the corresponding switch and hold it until the window reaches the desired position. To raise the window, pull the switch up. To raise the window, push the corresponding button up and hold it in this position. When the window reaches the required position, release the switch.
Make sure no one's fingers or head get caught when closing the windows!
Using the master switch, the driver can cut power to the power window circuits of all passenger doors, thereby disabling control from the individual door switches. The master switch and lockout do not affect the driver's door power window. When transporting children, it is advisable to lock out the passenger door power windows.
The driver's door window can be fully lowered (and on some models, fully closed) with a single press of the corresponding switch (automatic mode). To lower or raise the window in automatic mode, press the switch firmly in the corresponding direction. The movement can be stopped at any time by pressing the switch in the opposite direction.
Partial lowering or raising of the driver's door window is done by lightly pressing the corresponding side of the switch and holding it. The window stops as soon as the switch is released.
Auto-Reverse Mode (automatic return of the window to its original position)
If the driver's door window is raised in automatic mode and an obstacle is encountered in its path, the power window is automatically locked and the window will begin to lower back to its original position.
Even with this function, before using the power windows, make sure that no passengers have their hands or heads outside the window.
In a collision, the auto-reverse mode may activate spontaneously, which may damage the power window motor. In this case, take the vehicle to a service station for the necessary repair work.
If automatic mode fails (for example, due to battery discharge or battery failure), perform the following actions with the engine running:
a) Press and hold the driver's door power window switch to lower the window fully;
b) Pull the driver's door power window switch up and hold it in this position until the window is fully closed, plus a few more seconds;
c) Make sure the power windows function correctly in automatic mode.
