Right-hand combination switch

Wiper Operation Control Switch
The rotary end knob of the switch is located on the end of the combined wiper/washer control lever of the right-hand multi-function switch. Three wiper operating modes are provided:
a) Turning the end knob to the first position (INT) activates intermittent wiper operation;
b) The second position (--) corresponds to continuous low-speed wiper operation;
c) Selecting the third position (=) activates continuous high-speed operation.
In intermittent mode, pauses of several seconds are maintained between wiper cycles. These pauses may vary slightly depending on vehicle speed: pauses between wiper cycles are shorter when the vehicle is moving and longer when it is stopped. In the second and third switch positions, the wiper operates continuously.

In addition, a quick wipe function is provided for several wiper cycles: push the switch lever down. The wiper will then operate at maximum speed for as long as the lever is held. This mode is useful for quickly restoring a clear view through the windshield, for example after overtaking or passing an oncoming vehicle on a wet, dirty road.

Windshield Washer Operation
The windshield washers are activated by pulling the right-hand multi-function switch lever toward you. When the lever is pulled, the washer fluid pump located in the reservoir is switched on, and fluid is continuously sprayed onto the windshield through the nozzles. Fluid spray stops when the lever is released.
Several wiper cycles usually occur together with the washer fluid spray.
Headlamp Cleaner and Washer Operation
The headlamp cleaners/washers are activated automatically together with the windshield washers, provided the exterior lights are switched on.
Fluid for the headlamps is supplied from the same reservoir as for the windshield.
