Door lock striker
1. STRIKER BOLT
2. ADJUSTING SHIM

both vertically and laterally. Door locking in the
In the closed position, this occurs when the lock fork engages the striker bolt head with its slot.
Longitudinal adjustment of the striker bolt.
To determine whether longitudinal adjustment is necessary, perform the operations described below.

correctly.
2. Partially close the door so that the lock fork touches the striker bolt.
3. Press and release the door latch handle, closing and opening the door several times, each time only touching the striker bolt. This makes it easy to
check the relative position of the striker bolt and the door lock fork.
The plane of the lock fork must be perpendicular to the axis of the striker bolt and
located approximately in the middle of the bolt (no closer than 4 mm from the edges of the bolt).
4. If longitudinal adjustment of the striker bolt is required, screw it in or out the required distance using a wrench (hex
shank) 8 mm. When screwing the bolt in, first remove the
adjusting washers, and when screwing it out, add 2 mm thick washers in the
required quantity.
5. Install the striker bolt. Tighten the door lock striker bolt to a torque of 53 N·m.

2. ELECTRIC DRILL
Vertical or lateral adjustment of the striker bolt may be required for several reasons:

vertical and lateral adjustment of the striker bolt, perform the
following.
PROCEDURE.
