GENERAL INFORMATION.

The rear window heater, which is optional equipment, consists of horizontal electrically conductive strips bonded to the inner surface of the glass and connected by vertical bus bars. The electrical

supply wire of the heater is soldered to one bus bar, and the ground wire to the other. The heater supply voltage is 12 V. In some cases, heating of

the rear window is difficult to feel by touch. The time required to clear moisture from the rear window

depends on factors such as vehicle speed, outside air temperature, atmospheric pressure and the number of passengers in the vehicle.
