Lock Striker

GENERAL INFORMATION

Lock Striker (Sedan Body)

1. SCREW.

2. LOCK STRIKER.

3. REAR PANEL OF LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT

On sedan-body vehicles, the lock striker can be adjusted.

Hinge height adjustment is required to ensure proper operation of the trunk lid lock.

Remove or disconnect:

PROCEDURE.

1. Remove the 4 screws and remove the rear luggage compartment trim panel.

2. Fold back the mat to access the striker plate.

3. Remove the 1 screw and remove the striker plate from the vehicle.

Installation

PROCEDURE.

1. Install the striker plate on the vehicle and secure it with the screw.

2. Return the mat to its normal position.

3. Install the rear luggage compartment trim panel and secure it with the 4 screws.
