Rear Door - Hinges

GENERAL INFORMATION

Rear Door Hinge Location

1. HINGE PIN

2. RETAINING RING

3. HINGE

4. PLATE

5. BOLTS (2 PCS.)

Remove or disconnect:

PROCEDURE.

1. Fully open the rear door and install the door stop.

2. Remove the rear door from the vehicle.

3. Remove the headliner retainer near the rear door opening to access the hinge mounting bolts.

.

4. Mark the position of the hinges relative to the body.

5. Remove the 2 mounting bolts of each hinge from the body.

6. Remove the hinges from the vehicle.

Installation

PROCEDURE.

1. Install the hinges on the vehicle, aligning them with the marks made during removal.

2. Install the 2 mounting bolts of each hinge to the body. Tighten the rear door hinge mounting bolts to the specified torque of 20 N·m.

3. Install the headliner retainer.

4. Install the rear door on the vehicle.
