Remove or disconnect

Quarter Window Weatherstrip Removal. A. REMOVE WEATHERSTRIP IN THE DIRECTION OF THE ARROW.

PROCEDURE.

1. Disconnect the weatherstrip from the B-pillar.

2. Remove the screw securing the upper trim panel to the seat belt

guide.

3. Release the upper trim panel from the clips.

4. When removing the mounting screws, secure with adhesive tape.

5. Remove the two latch mounting screws from the body.

6. Remove the hinge mounting screws and remove the quarter window from the vehicle.

7. Cut the quarter window weatherstrip and remove it from the vehicle using

pliers.

Installation

PROCEDURE.

1. Apply urethane sealant to the old seal locations.

joint seams. The sealant layer thickness should be approximately 6 mm.

2. Clean the new weatherstrip with alcohol.

3. Install the new weatherstrip on the joint seam.

4. Quarter window. When installing the mounting screws, secure the quarter window to the body with adhesive tape (from the outside).

5. Install the hinge mounting screws to the body.

6. Install the two latch mounting screws to the body.

7. Secure the upper trim panel in the clips.

8. Install the upper trim panel mounting screw to the belt guide.
