GENERAL INFORMATION

Front Fender

Remove or disconnect:

PROCEDURE.

1. Raise the hood and install the hood support..

2. Front bumper outer cover.

3. Carefully remove the plastic caps from both wiper arms of the

windshield..

4. Unscrew the nuts securing the wiper arms and remove the arms.

5. Unscrew the three screws securing the ventilation grille panel.

6. Disconnect the washer fluid hoses from the nozzles and remove

the two-piece ventilation grille. To prevent accidental

damage to the paint, cover the rear edge of the fender and the front edge of the door with masking tape.

7. Remove the front turn signal and parking lamps.

8. Unscrew the fender mounting bolts and remove the fender from the vehicle.

Installation

PROCEDURE.

1. Install the fender on the vehicle. Secure it with the bolts. Tighten the bolts

of the front fender to torque 25 N·m.

2. Install the front turn signal and parking lamps. Remove the protective

film from the fender and door.

3. Install the ventilation grille on the vehicle, connecting the washer fluid hoses.

4. Screw in the three ventilation grille mounting screws.

5. Install the wiper arms and screw on the mounting nuts. Tighten the wiper arm nuts to torque 20 N·m.

6. Install the plastic caps on the wiper arms.
