Hood Latch

1. LATCH ASSEMBLY.

2. HOOD.

3. WASHER.

4. LOCKNUT.

5. SPRING.

6. LATCH PIN

Remove or disconnect:

PROCEDURE.

1. Raise the hood and install the hood support..

2. Loosen the locknut on the latch pin..

3. Unscrew the latch pin from its seat.

Installation

PROCEDURE.

1. Screw the latch pin into its seat..

2. Measure the distance from the lower plate of the hood panel to the edge of the upper washer. This distance must be exactly 40–45 mm. Adjust the position of the latch

pin and secure it with the locknut.

3. Close the hood. Check the latch operation. If necessary,

adjust the pin position again.
