Roof

GENERAL INFORMATION.

The roof panel is stamped from a single steel sheet and joined to the headliner panel, which is also a single piece. On the right and left sides of the

roof there are moldings covering the longitudinal joints where the roof panel joins the

body sides. The roof moldings are serviced and supplied as

separate spare parts.

On sedan and hatchback bodies, similar headliner panels are used,

molded as a single unit. A fabric covering is applied to the base layer of the panel

with a foam backing. The design of the headliner panel requires that it be replaced only as a complete assembly (if necessary). Installation of the headliner panel is completed by fastening the mounting parts along the interior trim moldings and

door weatherstrips.
