GENERAL INFORMATION

Head Restraint Guide Sleeve Removal

1. HEAD RESTRAINT GUIDE SLEEVE.

2. SLIP-JOINT PLIERS.

3. LOCK BUTTON.

4. SEATBACK FRAME.

5. GUIDE SLEEVE GROOVE.

6. SEATBACK SURFACE.

Remove or disconnect:

PROCEDURE.

1. Raise the head restraint to the upper stop.

2. Press the locks and remove the head restraints from the guide sleeves.

3. Head restraint guide sleeves. Squeeze the sleeve with pliers to disengage its groove from the seatback frame, and remove the sleeve from the seatback socket. The pliers must grip the sleeve at a 90° angle.

Installation

PROCEDURE.

1. Guide sleeves into the seatback sockets. Press the sleeves to lock them.

down. The lock buttons must face forward.

2. Install the head restraints into the guide sleeves. Press the head restraint down to engage the locks.
