Door Lock Assembly

PROCEDURE.

1. Apply grease to the inner surface of the lock housing bore and insert the cylinder with key into it..

Warning.

When assembling the cylinder with the lock housing, check the correct relative position of

the moisture drain holes, see Fig. Return Spring Location and Fig. Door Lock Cylinder..

2. Install the return spring on the upper part of the lock housing. On locks

intended for left doors, the spring tabs must be visible to the left of the

moisture drain holes (viewed from above). On locks intended for right doors, the spring tabs must be located to the right of the holes.

3. Install the bracket onto the lock cylinder so that its lever faces left on

locks for left doors and right on locks for right doors. Warning.

Brackets may differ in color: white for left door locks and black

for right door locks.
