Front Seats - Seat Trim Panels and Upholstery

Remove or disconnect:

PROCEDURE.

1. Raise the rear adjusting lever and slide the seat to the rear position.

2. Remove the outer seat runner cover..

3. Remove the 2 seat mounting bolts (M 10 x 1.25)..

4. Raise the front and rear adjusting levers and slide the seat to the front position..

5. Remove the inner and outer seat runner covers and the longitudinal seat adjustment mechanisms..

6. Remove 4 bolts and remove the longitudinal adjustment mechanism from the seat cushion. Raise the headrest to the upper stop. Press the latches and remove the headrests from the guide bushings..

7. Headrest guide bushings. Compress the bushing with pliers to disengage its groove from the seat back frame, and remove the bushing from the seat back socket. The point where the pliers grip the bushing should be located at a 90

degree angle from the latch button..

8. Seat back recline angle adjustment lever..

9. Seat back locking washer and roller..

10. Seat back from the seat cushion..

11. Spring washers and seat back trim..

12. Springs and bushings from the seat back..

13. Spring washers and seat cushion trim..

Install or connect

Front Seat Back Roller Adjustment

1. SEAT BACK ROLLER.

2. ARROW POINTS REAR.

3. WASHER

PROCEDURE.

1. Profiled wire, bushings and springs into the seat back..

2. Spring washers and seat back trim..

3. Spring washers and seat cushion trim..

4. Seat back to the seat cushion..

5. Seat back roller, secure it with the washer..

6. Adjust the position of the roller to reduce seat back play.

7. Inner and outer trim panels, securing them in the retainers..

9. Seat back reclining mechanism (hatchback body)..

10. Install the head restraints into the guide sleeves.

11. Install the seat track assembly to the seat cushion. Install 4 mounting

bolts. Tighten the seat track assembly mounting bolts to 35 N·m.

12. Install the front seat assembly in the vehicle. Tighten the front seat mounting bolts to 35 N·m.

13. End caps and seat track covers.
