3. CATCH

Remove or disconnect:

PROCEDURE.

1. Raise the hood and install the hood support..

2. Cut off the peened head of the safety catch pin with cutters..

4. Remove the pin from the bracket..

3. Remove the safety catch from the bracket..

Installation

PROCEDURE.

1. Install the safety catch in the bracket..

2. Insert a new pin into the holes of the catch and bracket..

3. Peen or stake the end of the pin.
