GENERAL INFORMATION

Sensor Location

The throttle position sensor (variable resistor) is mounted on the right side of the throttle body.

Removal and installation

PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

2. Disconnect the connector.

3. Make alignment marks on the sensor relative to the housing.

4. Remove the two screws and remove the sensor.

5. During installation, make sure the sensor lever engages with the throttle lever.

6. Align the marks and lightly tighten the screws.

7. Adjust the sensor so that its resistance is within specification.

8. Tighten the sensor screws and connect the connector.

9. Connect the battery ground.
