Removal

PROCEDURE

1. Remove the lower trim panel in the driver's footwell.

2. Disconnect the throttle cable from the pedal.

3. Unscrew the bracket mounting bolts and remove the pedal from the bulkhead together with the bracket.

4. If necessary, disassemble the pedal by removing the cotter pin, shaft and spring.

5. Inspect the condition of the parts. Replace worn parts.

Installation

PROCEDURE

Install in the reverse order. Lubricate the pedal shaft with multipurpose grease. When finished, check the cable adjustment.
