GENERAL INFORMATION

The switch is installed on the high-pressure line of the power steering system at the right rear corner of the engine compartment.

Before removing the switch, set the front wheels straight and disconnect the negative battery cable.

Removal and installation

PROCEDURE

1. The switch is installed on the high-pressure line of the power steering system at the right rear corner of the engine compartment. Before removing the switch, set the front wheels straight and disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Locate the switch and disconnect the connector.

3. Unscrew the switch, remove the switch O-ring and quickly plug the opening in the line to prevent fluid leakage and contamination of the hydraulic system.

4. Install in the reverse order of removal using a new O-ring.
