Removal

PROCEDURE

1. Drain part of the coolant.

2. Perform the actions described in items 1–6 of subsection 6.2.12.

3. Disconnect all components from the throttle body.

4. Disconnect all hoses from the intake manifold, labeling them beforehand.

5. Disconnect the EGR tube from the exhaust manifold (arrow indicates the EGR tube fitting nut).

6. Disconnect the injector connectors and the engine coolant temperature sensor connector, remove the ground wire connections (arrows indicate the ground terminal screws on the right side of the manifold).

7. Remove the manifold bracket.

8. Relieve the fuel system pressure and disconnect the fuel hoses from the fuel rail. Immediately plug the hoses.

9. Make sure that all wires and hoses are disconnected. Remove the nuts and bolts in the reverse order of installation.

10. Remove the manifold and gasket.

Installation

PROCEDURE

1. Install in the reverse order.

2. Before installation, replace the gasket, thoroughly cleaning the mating surfaces.

3. Make sure hoses and wires are connected correctly.

4. Tighten the nuts and bolts in the specified sequence.
