GENERAL INFORMATION

The engine control unit is located in front of the center console, on the driveshaft tunnel projection.

Before removing the electronic control unit, disconnect the negative battery cable.

Removal and installation

PROCEDURE

1. To gain access to the electronic control unit, remove the mounting screws and release the retaining clips, then remove the small trim panels on both sides of the propeller shaft tunnel at the front of the center console.

2. Remove the mounting screws and remove the control unit from the mounting bracket. Disconnect the connectors and remove the electronic control unit from the vehicle.

3. Installation is the reverse of removal. When installing, make sure the connector is securely connected.
