GENERAL INFORMATION

The Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor is installed on the air cleaner cover.

Before removing it, disconnect the negative battery cable.

Removal and installation

PROCEDURE

1. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the air intake duct from the MAF sensor.

2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the MAF sensor.

3. Remove the four bolts (three of them are indicated by arrows) and remove the MAF sensor from the air cleaner housing.

4. Remove the O-ring and discard it. A new O-ring must be used during installation.

5. Installation is the reverse of removal. Use a new O-ring during installation.
