Removal and Installation of the Fuel Pressure Sensor

PROCEDURE

1. The sensor is mounted on the left suspension cover.

2. Disconnect the battery ground.

3. Отверните винты приподнимите датчик и отсоедините шланг (2) и разъем (1),

3. Unscrew the screws, lift the sensor, disconnect the hose (2) and connector (1), and remove the sensor.

4. Installation is performed in the reverse order.

TRANSISTOR MODULE. See subsection 7.7.6.

MIXTURE CONTROL VALVE. See subsection 6.1.10.2.

SOLENOID VALVES. See subsection 6.1.10.2, steps 18–26.

To improve access to the work area, remove the air cleaner.

THROTTLE SWITCH

переключателя
Location of the Switch

The throttle switch is mounted on the right side of the carburetor.

PROCEDURE

1. Unscrew the two screws.

2. Disconnect the wires and remove the switch.

3. When installing, adjust the switch.

4. For adjustment, warm up and stop the engine, then disconnect the connector with the switch wires.

5. Соедините перемычками выводы отсечного клапана и подключите омметр (стрелками

5. Connect the terminals of the cutoff valve with jumper wires, and connect an ohmmeter (the arrows indicate the terminals for connecting the ohmmeter).

6. Start the engine, increase the speed to 2000 rpm, and slowly reduce it while watching the ohmmeter. The ohmmeter should show a closed circuit, and an open circuit at 1200 rpm (the switch operates).

7. If necessary, adjust the switch by bending the tab.

8. Stop the engine and connect the connector.

COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR See subsection 4.6.3.

CONTROL UNIT The unit is installed either under one of the front seats or under the center section of the instrument panel.

PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

2. Remove the seat or the center section.

3. Unscrew the screws, remove the unit and disconnect the wiring.

4. When installing, make sure all connections are correct.

CRANKSHAFT ANGLE SENSOR The sensor is part of the ignition distributor and is not removed separately.

If the sensor fails, replace the entire distributor assembly (see subsection 7.7.4). CLUTCH SWITCH The switch is mounted on the pedal assembly bracket.

PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable, remove the lower panel.

2. Disconnect the wires, unscrew the nut and remove the switch.

3. When installing, check the clutch pedal adjustment and adjust the switch.

4. To adjust, connect an ohmmeter to the switch terminals and adjust the position so that there is an open circuit when the pedal is released and a closed circuit when the pedal is slightly depressed.

5. Tighten the nut.

TRANSMISSION NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH See subsection 9.1.4.

IDLE SPEED COMPENSATION SWITCH FOR POWER STEERING The switch is built into the power steering circuit, in the rear right part of the engine compartment.

PROCEDURE

1. Set the wheels in the straight-ahead position and disconnect the battery ground cable.

2. Disconnect the connector from the switch.

3. Unscrew the switch, plug the opening in the pipe and remove the seal.

4. When installing, replace the seal.

VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR The sensor is mounted in the speedometer.
