GENERAL INFORMATION

The thermo valve is secured on the left side of the throttle body. Removal and Installation

PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

2. Remove the air cleaner.

3. Remove the nut and remove the cam retaining flange, spring, gasket, and lever, noting the position of the parts.

4. Disassemble and remove the valve, then remove the O-ring.

5. Installation is the reverse of removal.

6. Replace the O-ring.
