Removal and installation

PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable and remove the air cleaner.

2. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the fuel pressure regulator.

3. Relieve the fuel system pressure and disconnect the hoses from the fuel distributor (indicated by arrows).

4. Отсоедините провода от форсунок, отжав защелки.

4. Disconnect the wires from the injectors by releasing the clips.

5. Evenly loosen the bolts and carefully remove the fuel distributor together with the injectors. Remove the fuel distributor spacer sleeves and injector seals.

6. Отверните два болта прижимного фланца.

6. Remove the two bolts of the retaining flange.

7. Снимите форсунку.

7. Remove the injector.

8. Remove the seal.

9. Replace all injector seals and O-rings.

10. Installation is the reverse of removal.

11. Lubricate the O-rings before assembly.

12. Tighten the bolts in a diagonal sequence from the center outward, in 2 stages.
