System type: Nissan electronic single-point fuel injection system. Application: Models with 2.0-liter engine, engine code SR20Di. Fuel system specifications: For idle speed, see subsection 2.

1. Fuel mixture specifications are given in subsection 6.1.1 and subsection 6.2.1.

Fuel pump type: Electric, installed in fuel tank. Fuel pump pressure (approximate): 2.5 bar. Fuel system component specifications. Fuel pump resistance (tester connected to fuel level sensor): 0.7 Ohm. Throttle position sensor resistance (see figure. Throttle position sensor connector): Tester connected between terminals "A" and "B": – throttle valve closed: 1 kOhm – throttle valve partially open: 1 – 9 kOhm – throttle valve fully open: 9 kOhm. Injector resistance (see figure. Throttle body connector): – tester connected between terminals "A" and "D": 1 – 2 Ohm. Auxiliary air valve resistance (see figure. Throttle body connector): – tester connected between terminals "B" and "E": 10 Ohm. Solenoid valve for fast idle speed-up when engine is cold (see figure. Throttle body connector): – when 12 volts are applied between terminals "C" (+) and "F" (-), the solenoid valve should click, indicating correct operation. Knock sensor (see figure. Knock sensor connector): – tester connected between terminal "A" and (vehicle ground). The sensor should conduct current. Fuel mixture heater: The heater should conduct current. Membrane switch of power steering system: When turning the steering wheel, the switch closes the circuit. Steering wheel stationary: the switch opens the circuit. Coolant temperature sensor resistance: – at coolant temperature of 20 °C: 2.1 – 2.9 kOhm – at 50 °C: 0.68 – 1 kOhm – at 80 °C: 0.30 – 0.33 kOhm. All resistance values given are approximate. Before considering any component faulty, consult a specialist. Recommended fuel: Models without catalytic converter ("non-catalyst" models): AI-95 unleaded or AI-97 leaded. Models with catalytic converter ("catalyst" models): AI-95 unleaded only. Leaded gasoline is prohibited. Tightening torques for threaded connections, N·m.
